I believe that quality craftsmanship increases the quality of your life. If you surround yourself with innovative designs, your life will be enriched.

In the Beginning…..

My interest in the old crafts started when I was a child reading the adventures of Robinson Crusoe and The Swiss Family Robinson. They were able to build everything a young lad could possibly need, and I wanted to know how to do that.

Growing up in a time when there was no internet, I spent the majority of my free time outside. If I wasn’t reading a book, I was in the neighboring woods building forts and watching the wildlife.

From then til now, I’ve spent my time studying history and how people have lived throughout the ages, marveling at how they incorporated beauty into even their most mundane items.

As a blacksmith, I have had the wonderful opportunity to share my work with people all over the world – from the Far East to the cold climes of Northern Europe, California to Australia. And every single customer has been a blessing. I often tell people that I’m not interested in selling ironwork so much as I am in showing people the value of quality craftsmanship.

I honestly believe that quality craftsmanship improves lives. When you surround yourself with the best you can afford, even in the littlest of things, you take on a portion of that quality in your being. It’s that quality, the art in the everyday item, that I look forward to sharing with you.
